August 05 2021 – Brooklyn Cooper
For the month of August, SUVA Beauty is partnering with Qmunity’s BBB Program. The BBB program is the bra, binder and breast form exchange which provides trans and gender diverse youth with free access to gender affirming garments.
Shaina Azad sat down with Sam Porta, the Pride and Outreach Coordinator at Qmunity, to learn more about the BBB program at Qmunity and how others can provide their support. Sam is a recent graduate from the Global and International Studies program at Carleton University and brings their experience from the Gay and Lesbian Archives in Johannesburg, South Africa and a variety of departments with the Government of Canada.
